SQUIDS CURRY


Squid Curry Recipe 👇


Ingredients

1kg Squid (cleaned)

10 Okra ( cleaned)


Ingredients for curry

250g Baba's fish curry powder + water 

(Add in water mix into thick paste)

Ing A

1 big onion - slice thinly

5 shallots - slice thinly

5 cloves garlic - slice thinly

Ing B

1 tsp Funugreek, 

1 tsp fennel seeds 

1 tsp cumin seeds

1 pc cinnamon stick

3 pcs star anise


2 sprigs curry leaves

2 tomatoes cut into 4 pcs each


Seasoning

Chicken stock powder

Fish sauce

Salt

Water .. 300-500ml

it depends on how thick you want yr curry to be ..as for seasoning adjust according to yr desired taste..

5 tbsp oil for cooking 


Add last

Tamerind paste (assam ko) soak in hot water


Step 1

1. Clean n cut the squid into size you prefer    

    and blanch wt hot water for 1 min,

    remove and drain dry , set aside   

2 Clean n wash the okra, set aside

3. Rinse the ingredients B, set aside


Step 2 

Heat oil in wok wt medium flame, 

saute the ing A for few sec then add in ing B, stir fry till fragrance, add in curry powder, 

stir fry till aroma, add in tomatoes n curry leaves, followed by okra, stir n mix well,

add in water and bring to boil, add seasoning then add in squids bring to boil, 

add in assam juice, then bring to boil again.. Done..transfer to bowl and garnish wt curry leaves, ready to serve.


Note : do not over cook the squids.
